We were founded in June 2007 to address the lack of local breastfeeding support for mothers in the Bursledon, Hamble and Netley areas. The group is run by a group of volunteers who are all mums and have breastfed their own children. Our trained volunteers are DBS checked.

The South East London branch of La Leche League invites you to our monthly meetings and coffee mornings for local breastfeeding mothers and babies. Meetings are informal discussions covering the advantages of breastfeeding, birth and the first feedings, positioning baby at the breast, family life with a breastfed baby, overcoming difficulties, starting solids, nutrition, weaning and toddlers. There is time to talk about any breastfeeding concerns of those present. Babies and children are always welcome. Babies and young children are always welcome. Meetings for pregnant and breastfeeding people and their children. Toddlers welcome. Monthly on a Monday, from 10am – 12pm at a private home in North Leigh, near Witney. LLL Glasgow is not meeting at the moment, but you are very welcome to come to meetings at our new group, LLL Lanarkshire.
LLL Lanarkshire meets on the 3rd Friday of each month, 10.30am-noon. We meet in the hall of East Kilbride West Kirk, 40 Kittoch Street, G74 4JW. The hall is just across from East Kilbride train station. All pregnant and breastfeeding mums are welcome along with their children. In between meetings, we offer support through our private Facebook group (https://m.facebook.com/groups/1999831436968049) and via email. LLL Glasgow is currently taking a break from meetings. Glasgow mums are more than welcome to come along to our group.
Huntly Breastfeeding Buddies is a group run by NHS Grampian Breastfeeding Peer Supporters. Our aim is to enable every woman to breastfeed for as long as she chooses to.
Our group runs every Friday from 9.30am-11am in the Deveron Room, Linden Centre, Castle Street, Huntly, AB54 4SE.
We run a group on Friday mornings between 10&11am in the Family Room at Inverurie Health Centre (the one used by HVs). The group is open to everyone lookIng for support & information on breastfeeding or just to meet other Breastfeeding mums. The group is led by a NHS trained Peer Supporter.
A friendly group of girls here for support and advice on breastfeeding and all things baby! We meet every Thursday in Community Room 1, Peterhead Community Centre from 1:30 to 3pm for a nice chat, cup of tea and a fine piece!
Our meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, at St Columba’s Church Hall, Lovers Lane, Cupar, KY15 5AX. We start at 10.30am with welcoming chat, refreshments and time to look through our group library. There is time for discussion about any breastfeeding-related topics through until midday. We welcome new mums, mums-to-be, and more experienced mums who are new to LLL, and any specific questions can be dealt with through the mother-to-mother support in the group environment or one-to-one with a Leader at the end of the meeting. All mothers and mothers-to-be with an interest in breastfeeding are very welcome to come to our weekly termtime Tuesday coffee mornings, in Weston or Bathampton. They start at 10.15 am and finish around midday. Siblings are welcome to attend. At least one La Leche Leader is available for breastfeeding help at meetings in a one to one or group capacity. Meetings are free but donations towards refreshments and running costs are greatly appreciated. We meet weekly, alternating venues between a Friday morning 10.30-12.30 at the West Camp Community Centre Starling Close, St Athan, Barry, Vale of Glamorgan CF62 4NA; and then the following Thursday 10.30-12.30 at Bethel Hall, Durell Street, Llantwit Major, CF61 1AD. The Llantwit venue is easily walkable from the train station and bus station and has plenty of free parking at the shopping precinct just two mins walk away. The St Athan venue has plenty of free parking. We would warmly welcome you to join our busy and very friendly closed Facebook group at any time too.
We run bi-monthly coffee mornings and afternoons, usually on Tuesdays and Fridays. They take place at one of our group mothers’ or one of the Leaders’ houses and offer a safe, welcoming and informative environment to discuss all things mothering and breastfeeding. Expectant mothers, beautiful newborns, tumbling toddlers, chatty pre-schoolers, older siblings (or anything and everything in between!) all welcome. We run an active Facebook page and send round the addresses and times of our meetings to members of our mailing list as far in advance as possible. Chichester meetings are held at Chichester Baptist Church, Sherborne Road from 10am–12 noon.
